Insert Video
To insert a video into the document:
- Position the cursor where you want to insert the video.
- From the Insert menu, choose Video.
- In the dialog box that appears, set the options that you want.
- Click the OK button.
The following options can be set:
- Video Path
Sets the path of the video file to be inserted. This can either be an Internet URL or a local file. You can choose the Browse... button to choose a local file.
- Alternative Text
Sets text that displays if the video is unable to be displayed.
- Repeat Forever
When checked, causes the video to repeat continuously.
- Loop
Specifies the number of times the video should play.
- Loop Delay
Sets the amount of time to wait before the video is played again.
- Start on page open
The video begins to play when the page loads.
- Start on mouse over
The video begins to play when the mouse pointer passes over it.
- Show controls in browser
Causes the controls for the video to be displayed.
- Alignment
Specifies the video's alignment relative to the surrounding content.
- Border Thickness
Specifies the thickness of the border surrounding the video.
- Horizontal Spacing
Sets the amount of space at the left and right of the video.
- Vertical Spacing
Sets the amount of space at the top and bottom of the video.
- Width
Sets the width of the video. The value you enter can either be either a percentage or a pixel value. You can change type of value you want to use by marking either Units in pixels or Units in percent.
- Height
Sets the height of the video. The value you enter can either be either a percentage or a pixel value. You can change type of value you want to use by marking either Units in pixels or Units in percent.
