Shift User Machine
Concept:
This feature is useful under the following circumstances:
1) A customer is busy surfing on his machine and, suddenly his machine hangs up and, he is unable to continue his surfing session. The only way left now is, he has to restart his machine and login again. After re-login when he finishes his surfing session, he comes to pay you the bill. The customer may argue that, he will not pay the full bill amount as, he did not utilize5-10 minutes since there was a problem with the machine. In such cases, there may arise a dispute between you and your customer.
2) A customer is surfing on a particular machine and, just wants to continue his session over some other machine. To do so, he has to logout from the current machine and, login again on the new machine. This will generate 2 bills for the same customer.
To avoid difficulties arising due to such situations, Web Cafe provides you with this feature of 'Shift User Machine' by which, you can continue the user's current session over a different machine. After a user is shifted from the server, he is automatically logged off from the first machine and, logged on to a new machine under the same bill.
Note: This feature requires that, there be one or more free machines in your network.
This menu item appears under the Transactions menu as shown below in the screen-shot:

When this menu item is clicked you will see a screen similar to the one shown below:

As seen in the figure above, user 'amit' on machine 'SANTOSH' needs to be shifted to some other free machine. We can see that there is only one machine available (machine 'AMIT' in green color).
