System Tweaks
System tweaks window allow you to change some hidden settings from Windows.
Removing the "Shortcut to ..." text on shortcuts - check it to remove "Shortcut to ..." text when creating new shortcuts.
Remove the shortcut arrow - check it to remove shortcut arrow displayed on icon.
Automatic window refresh - check it to configure Windows to perform faster automatic updates.
Enable full window drag option - check it to see the window content while dragging it.
Enable windows animation function - check it to enable animations for windows when minimize and restore.
Enable smooth scrolling - check it to enable Windows smooth scrolling function.
Desktop icon size - set size for icons displayed on desktop.
Remove the tildes in short filenames - check it to remove ~ sign on short filenames.
Contiguous file allocation size - check it to increase performance for programs which use disk very much.
Force Windows to unload DLL's from memory - check it to increase performance forcing Windows to unload unnecessary DLL's from memory.
Enable CD-ROM autorun function - check it to enable automatically launch content for CR-ROMs when inserted in drive.
Allow applications to steal focus -
Menu show delay - set how slow or fast START menu is displayed.
Recycle Bin icons - change Recycle Bin icons
Default - set default icon for Recycle Bin
Empty - set icon for Empty Recycle Bin
Full - set icon for Full Empty Recycle Bin
OK - click to apply changes.
Refresh - refresh settings.
Recommended - set recommended settings. |
