Add Directory or Individual Song
Use this procedure if you want to add all or some of the songs of a single directory, rather than adding several whole directories of songs.
1. The previous step should have left you with a very large window called "Organizer Mp3 - New Collection" or "Organizer Mp3 - Edit Collection".
- If you want to add MP3 files to a new album (rather than adding to an existing album), click "Add" near the "Albums" label (under the circled button on the screenshot below).
- If you want to add MP3 files to an existing album, browse to it (by using the and buttons or by clicking the album title near the bottom left of the screen).
- There is no such thing as adding a song without adding it to an album. If you haven't created any album yourself, then your collection includes a default album called Album 1.
2. Now click "Add" near the "Songs" label.

A new window will appear, called "Select directories of your MP3 files".

3. Choose the directory, files from which you want to add to the collection, and click "OK".
A new window will appear with all the MP3 files in the chosen directory. By default all the files in the list are selected.

You can click the "Show Tags" button to see the title, artist, album and year of each song which has a TAG (either ID3v1-Tag or ID3v2-Tag).
4. If you want to add all the selected songs, click "OK".
Or if you want to add only some of the songs, click "Unselect All". Then hold the Ctrl key and using the left mouse button select the songs, which you want to add, and click "OK".
5. Add more songs to your album. Or enhance the albums, or songs with information and lyrics. |
