Specify Renaming Rules
Automatic MP3 Music Organizer gives you ability to rename processed files using custom rules. For example, Automatic MP3 Music Organizer is processing file with name "www.music.com Atrlant.mp3. Then, according to renaming rules, shown on the picture lower, Automatic MP3 Music Organizer will replace in the file name "www." phrase on nothing, and name will become "music.com Atlant.mp3", what is more comfortable and compact.
You can view and edit file renaming rules on "Custom rules" tab page of Automatic MP3 Music Organizer main window.

You can edit any renaming rule by double mouse click on it.
You can add new, delete or edit existing renaming rules, using context menu. You can open it by right-clicking on "Renaming rules" Automatic MP3 Music Organizer main window tab page. This menu looks in following way:

To add new file renaming rule, click "Add" menu item. To edit selected file renaming rule, press "Edit" menu item. To delete selected file renaming rule, press "Delete" menu item.
Note: Every file renaming rule have it's own priority level. Priority level is needed, when in the name of file Automatic MP3 Music Organizer finds multiple different strings for replacing. In such situation will be made replacements for rules with higher priority. Priority level of each rule is shown in the second column on the "Renaming rules" tab page. You can change renaming rule priority by right clicking on it and pressing "Move on top", "Move up", "Move down", "Move at bottom" menu elements. This will change position of file renaming rule in the list and, consequently, increase (if move to the up) or decrease (if move to the down). file moving priority. |
