Video Ripper Update
The Video Ripper Update function, allows you update just the video ripper component of DVD to iPod allowing you to choose a particular version of the ripping engine.
This gives you the flexibility of using potential multiple ripping engines, without having to 'install older or newer' versions of our software.
The Video Ripper update function, works by communicating with www.jesterware.co.uk to establish what versions of the ripping engine are available.
It will then present you the available choices for you to download.
How to update the Video Ripper component
Select Update Video Ripper located under the Help menu
You may now choose one of the available Ripper versions shown and press the Download Video Ripper button.
If the ripper has already been downloaded or a failed download was detected, you will see the following dialog
Pressing Yes, will download the ripping engine you have chosen.
When the download has finished, you will see the following messgae, which informs you that the download was successfull and the ripping engine will be used for all video conversions.
You can always check what version of the ripping engine you are using, by looking at the Help->About dialog.
Here you can see the Ripper Build version that the software is currently using.
