iPod Profiles
iPod Profiles allow you to define your own Video and Audio settings for use in DVD Rip to iPod. They provide you with a quick way to set the neccessary video and audio parameters to start ripping. We also provide you with a set of profiles, which we have defined and think you may find useful.
For example, you might encode all your DVD's using h.264 at 768 k/bits for video and 160 k/bits for audio files and like the volume to be set at 9. Without a profile, you would have to set these parameters each time you run DVD to iPod. But with a profile, you could save these parameters into a profile.
Once you have set your preferred Video and Audio options, you can then choose to save this as a profile (under the File Menu)

Give your profile a meaningful name, so it will be obvious to you what parameters are being saved into the profile

You can create an unlimited number of profiles, giving you total control over your ripping experience. Your profiles will appear in the Profiles section in the main program window. Simply choose the profile you want to use and your Audio and Video settings will be configured.
