DVD Online Database
This function allows you to lookup the chapter information for the DVD you are ripping and copy the contents into the main program window. This obviously saves you time and effort having to type all the chapter names in manually.
From the View menu, Select Lookup DVD Movie and Chapter Information
You will be shown the main DVD search dialog, as below
Simply type in the name of the DVD you wish to search for and press enter or press the Search button
If there are multple results, you will be shown a list where you can choose one.
Below is an examle of this, I've searched for Pink Floyd and it has returned 18 DVD titles that match this.
I now scroll down to the one I'm interested in and double click the movie name or press the DVD details button and the information is changed to show the contents of this DVD, including DVD cover art.
If this is the DVD you are interested in and it matches the DVD you have loaded, simply press the Apply Chapters button and the track information will be updated into the main program window.
Searching Tips
1. Keep it Simple
If the search doesn't find your DVD, trying narrowing the search text down. For example
You might search for: Yes: Live at QPR 1975, which may not find any results, but as far as your concerned this is what the DVD is callled. In this example, you would narrow the search down to just Yes
2. Busy, Busy, Busy
If you get the following dialog box, when your searching or trying to open the DVD information.
It simply means the online DVD search database couldn't process your request due to it being very busy. Please just wait a few seconds a try again.
