Registration
The Registration and Control screen contains your registration information and the settings for what information is displayed in the program. The control screeen also allows you to protect your inventory information with a password to keep it from prying eyes.
On the first tab you enter the information for your program. If you have received a registration number from us then type your name EXACTLY as it appears on the registration form. If you received the program from a third party that markets it you will see there name above the registration information and the serial number will be grayed out. This information is used to personalize your copy of the My Inventory program and appears on the reports generated by it. Enter all of your address and contact information as it is used in correspondence with us for tech support.
If you have a serial number to enter it in the spaces provided and do not enter the dashes as displayed on the registration form. Failing to register your copy of My Inventory will keep it in Demo mode and it will only work for thirty days. On the About screen there is a registration button available to register you copy until it is registered. You will notice that the screen opens each time the program is started until you register the software.
Currency allows you to select the currency character that will display for all money values in the program.
On the password tab you can select to enter a password for the program. Once selected enter the password you select and press tab. You will be required to enter it again just to be sure you did it right the first time. Once this is approved on your next restart of the program you will be asked to enter your password. You have three tries to get it right or you get a very pleasant "Good Bye" message as the program closes.
