Passwords
Most of us have experienced the frustration of a computer glitch or crash and have had to reinstall all of our software one more time. Some software you purchased in a box from the store with a serial number on a sticker. Some software was downloaded from the web and you probably received an email with the installation codes and serial numbers. Now you have to find all of those to reinstall the software or try to contact the vendor to replace them. All in all this is extremely frustrating. The other section is for tracking account information. Credit cards, on line accounts and account information you need to access but you never know quite where it is. Accounts such as Fed-Ex or UPS where every now and again you need the numbers are ideal candidates to be added to the program. Everyone knows that if your wallet were to get stolen you need to contact the card companies ASAP. Well, that is not all that easy if you don't have the cards or contact numbers to use to make those calls.
The Passwords list displays a quick list of all of the programs you have that you have entered into the system. The top of the list has tabs so you can group your software into logical orders. By selecting a tab it will sort the data to match that tab selection and the locator will match that selection. The locator will fill in as you type using an intelligent data selection process. To edit a record you can double click on a record with your mouse or highlight a record and select the Change button. To Insert a record select the Insert button on the screen or press the insert button on your keyboard.

Once the form is open simply fill in the fields with the data prompted for. There are two drop down lists to help with the data you are entering. The first drop down is the Category list which is pre filled with some generic categories.
Select a category from the list or type in one that more closely reflects the type of program.

As software developers require different types of registrations, passwords, unlock codes and more we give you a drop down for each of these. Select the prompt that is appropriate for data you will be entering. |
