Word Scrambler
Objective
To determine what the correct word is from the scrambled letters.
From one to four people can participate.
How to Use
After starting a scrambled word will appear in the top panel area. Type the word that you believe is correct in the First Attempt Panel area. When you feel you have entered a correct word, press Enter or click the Check Button. If you are not correct, the Second Attempt Panel will be highlighted and the word you type will be displayed there. Again, press Enter or click Check to see if your entry is correct.
[Note: Scoring is 5 points if correct on first attempt and 3 points if correct on second attempt.]
Special Options
Difficulty Level
Determines the length and difficulty of the scrambled word.
[Note: The larger the number selected the more difficult the word.]
Help Display
When selected a Help line will appear if your first attempt is Incorrect. This gives help about the Scrambled Word.
Player Option
If 2 or more players are selected to play, this option allows:
Until Wrong - Same Player continues to unscramble words until he or she incorrectly spells the word on both tries.
Next Player - Each Player takes a turn unscrambling the next word, regardless of whether they are wrong or not.
View Panel
When selected a Gauge will appear, which shows Percent of words used in each level. An Answer guide panel will also be displayed.
