Enter Data
Objective
This function allows you to enter data into the Video Library database for future reference and viewing.
How to Use
To enter data, select desired Text input box using the mouse or by pressing the Tab key.
A Beep will sound when maximum length is reached for each entry.
To enter Type of Movie, etc. either type in the Type of Movie or you can click on the arrow and select desired name. If a new name is entered in a box with a drop-down list, a box will appear seeing if you want to add new name to the existing list. Or you can edit the Type of Movie List, etc. by selecting the Edit button.
Special Options
Clear Current Data Button - will allow you to clear currently displayed data without saving it.
Edit List - displays a screen where you can enter new locations or delete existing locations.
Save & New Screen - will save currently displayed data and then clear the entry boxes so you can enter new information.
View Data
Objective
This screen lets you view, edit, rearrange how data is displayed and print data to your Windows printer.
How to Use
Use Command buttons at the bottom of the screen to change displays, delete an individual row of data that is no longer required, or send data to the printer.
To use the search capability if available, type in letters, word(s), etc... for search and then press the Enter key to begin search of data.
To edit displayed data, in the Video Library you must be in List By Video Title and the Select columns to View can only be: Title/No./Type/Rating/Time/Quality… Then Highlight an Item for editing, then use the Right Mouse Button or Edit Option and select Edit Highlighted Item. An edit screen will then appear which lets you make changes to the selected item.
Special Options
In the Options Menu are options called Grid Back Color and Grid Text Color. These two options let you change the grid colors to suit your individual tastes if you so desire.
Grid Options - the Grid has the following options and capabilities:
Scroll Bar - if you place the cursor over the vertical scroll bar button and while holding down the left mouse button and then move the scroll bar button it will show the number of the row that is currently at the top of the Grid to help you know where you are in the grid.
Scroll Wheel - If you mouse control has a scroll wheel, place the cursor anywhere over the grid area and then you can use the scroll wheel to scroll up or down the grid.
Sorting of Grid Data - By clicking on any of the top column headers a sort of the data in that column will occur and an arrow will appear indicating whether the sort was in ascending or descending order.

Objective
This function allows you to view graphically the information entered in the Video Library function of the program.
How to Use
Use Command buttons at bottom of screen to change charts and data that are displayed and to print out the data displayed within the grid box on the left side of the screen.
