Print
Objective
When you select a print function a screen will appear showing a print preview screen and the options and selections that are available for that document.
How to Use
Print Range: Tells you what is going to be displayed and printed.
Print Options: Gives you the options, etc. that are available for the current document.
Display Guide Lines: Will display the page size and margins for the current printer.
Printer Font Button: Will display a selection screen that in most cases will allow you to change the printer font, font size and font color. Each change made will be shown in the print preview area after you exit the selection screen.
[Note: Underline and Strikeout options are displayed but they may or may not work in the document you are trying to change.]
Page Setup Button: Will display a selection screen that lets you change the paper size, page orientation and select a different printer if so desired.
[Note: The margins settings if changed may or may not change the document shown in the print preview in that some documents are geared on the page itself and some on the margins, so change these with caution and see how the printout will be effected before printing.
To Print a document : Click the printer icon above the document display and selection screen will appear which lets you select the number of copies to print before you print the document.
Magnifying a document: Click on the small magnifying glass icon and you can go into the document and see what it will look like at a closer view. Use the slide bars on the bottom and right side of the preview page to move around, or place the cursor over the document and press and hold the left mouse button and a hand will appear which will grab the document and allow you to more the document around. Double-clicking on the document preview window will increase the zoom effect, or you can choose the amount of zoom from the drop down list to the right of the magnifying glass icon. To return to the original view click the magnifying glass icon at any time.
Copy Current Document to Clipboard Button: Clicking this button will copy a graphic copy of the currently displayed document to the windows clipboard for displaying in your favorite word processor.
Select Additional Recipes Button: Click on this button to print more than one recipe at a time.
[Note: To activate this button, first select either the Top or Bottom Half of the Page Printout Option, this is due to the fact that recipes will be printed up to two per page.]
Auto Size Button: If you change the paper size to a larger or smaller size this button will reduce or increase the font size to fit the current paper size. You can also change the font size as explained above.
[Note: Changing the font size to too large a font size may cause the printout to not work correctly, be sure to preview the document closely to see if it is acceptable before printing.]
Enlarge Button: In addition to the buttons explained above this button will give you a large view of the document.
