Famous Quotes

Objective

If you select one of the Panel Options - Arrange randomly displayed groups of words into their proper order. Select word Groupings as explained below.

If you select the Word Entry Option - Depending on which word entry option was selected, boxes will appear with a ยง symbol in place of the word letters and punctuation.

You then enter the correct words and punctuation to complete the Famous Quote.

How to Use

One Panel Option - Move word boxes to correct locations as described below.

[Note: This Option shows errors when made, use the Show Errors Option to turn On or Off, as desired.]

Two Panel Option - Press the Start button and a randomly ordered Famous Quote will appear in the lower panel. If in Drag Mode: Place arrow over box you desire to move, press left mouse button, and while still pressing, move the box to the desired location and release the mouse button. If in Click Mode: Place the mouse pointer over the Word(s) desired and click the left mouse button. The selected Word(s) will be appear in the lower left corner of the screen. Then move mouse pointer to a box in the top panel and click the left mouse button, the Word(s) will move to that location. Also if you want to move a word in the top panel to another location, do same as explained above.

Word Entry Option - To enter letters and punctuation, either use the keyboard or place the mouse arrow over a key and click the left mouse button. Once all letters/punctuation has been entered the highlighted box will jump to the next entry box. Repeat the above actions to enter all required words. Move to other words by either using the word move buttons or by placing the mouse arrow over the word desired and clicking the left mouse button. The Clear button will remove all letters from the highlighted word, the BackSpace button will remove a letter at a time from right to left. Use Check to see how you are doing.

Special Options

Words Option Box - Selects difficulty of the Activity. Select word groupings: 1 to 4.

D. Option - Display Option - Determines the order in which the Famous Quotes are displayed. In Order, Randomly, or you select a Quote to display.

Mode Option Box - Explained in How to Use section above.

[Note: In the Word Entry Option this box is not available or applicable.]

Timer Option - Lets you set timer function if desired.

PerfRp Button - Preformance Report - Show how you are doing depending on which options, etc. have be selected.

Special Notes

Hall of Fame - Added to only when Two Panel Game Option and Timer are selected to count time used to complete the Famous Quote.
