Family Display Screen
Objective
This screen lets you look at and print the individual entries contained in the Family Database file.
View All Mode - Displays all matches of Names that contain the information entry selection.
[Note: If no names containing that information are found, a No Names Found . . . Warning will appear in the lower left corner of the panel.]
Search Button - after entering the letter(s) or name in the text box, clicking on this Command will cause the program to search for and display only those names that contain the search text.
[Note: If No Match is found, a No Match . . . Warning will appear in the lower left corner.]
Print Button - Prints the Information that is currently displayed in the Grid.
[Note: Print options let your vary output design, font sizes, etc.]
Special Options
Options - Grid BackColor, Grid Text Color and Panel Color let you customize the colors used in this screen. If you make changes, when you Exit a Screen will appear, asking if you want to save changes.
Grid Options - the Grid has the following options and capabilities:
Scroll Bar - if you place the cursor over the vertical scroll bar button and while holding down the left mouse button and then move the scroll bar button it will show the number of the row that is currently at the top of the Grid to help you know where you are in the grid.
Scroll Wheel - If you mouse control has a scroll wheel, place the cursor anywhere over the grid area and then you can use the scroll wheel to scroll up or down the grid.
Sorting of Grid Data - By clicking on any of the top column headers a sort of the data in that column will occur and an arrow will appear indicating whether the sort was in ascending or descending order.
