Objective
This function lets you enter and view data about your family
How to Use
To Enter Data:
Select desired Text input box using the mouse or by pressing the Tab key.
On the Menu line if you select Edit and there is information on the screen - a Copy option will be available. This option copies any displayed data into the Windows Clipboard for pasting into other applications.
Clear Current Data Button - allows you to clear current data without saving, if so desired. A confirmation message will first appear before clearing.
Save and New Screen Button - saves currently displayed data then clears all text boxes to allow new data to be entered.
To View Data:
To select a name to view: Double click on the desired name, or single click on the name and then click on the View Command button.
On the Menu line if you select Edit and there is information on the screen - a Copy option will be available. This option copies any displayed data into the Windows Clipboard for pasting into other applications.
Delete File Button - deletes a file from the computer hard drive. A confirmation messages will first appear to insure you really want to do this.
Print File Button - sends the currently displayed file to the Windows printer for printing.
Make Modifications Button - sends the cursor to the first text box where you can make changes as needed. Also, you can select a text box for corrections, by placing the mouse arrow over the desired text box and then clicking the left mouse button.
Save Modifications Button - this Command will save any changes made to the current data file.
[Note: To Enter a New Name Select the Entry Screen Button!]
Special Options
Panel Color and Text Color options let you customize the colors used in this screen.
If you make changes, when you Exit a Screen will appear, asking if you want to save changes.
To Load Picture
To add a photo of an individual, click on the Add/Edit button when enabled and select picture location, followed by the appropriate button as desired. File must then be saved for picture to be added.
[Note: The program saves the path to the picture not the picture itself, so if you move the picture to a new location the picture path will have to be loaded again in order for the picture to be displayed!]
