Family Activity Record
Objective
This function has been designed to let you enter and keep tract of family activities.
How to Use
To enter an activity onto the grid, either select an activity from the Drop-down list or type the Activity in the top text box and click the 'Add to Activity Grid' button.
[Note: If a new activity is entered that is not currently on your list it will be automatically added to the Drop-down list. To remove an unwanted activity from your list, first click the down arrow button and select the activity using your mouse, this will move the name to the text box, then click the 'Delete Activity fm File' button and it will be removed.]
Grid Options - the Grid has the following options and capabilities:
Click and Drag a row of data to another location. This is done by first placing the cursor over the box on the left side of the row you desire to move and clicking the left mouse button and then while holding down the mouse button - move the cursor to the new location and then release the mouse button. The box on the left side will turn darker to indicate the row being moved.
Scroll Bar - if you place the cursor over the vertical scroll bar button and while holding down the left mouse button and then move the scroll bar button it will show the number of the row that is currently at the top of the Grid to help you know where you are in the grid.
Scroll Wheel - If you mouse control has a scroll wheel, place the cursor anywhere over the grid area and then you can use the scroll wheel to scroll up or down the grid.
Sorting of Grid Data - By clicking on any of the top column headers a sort of the data in that column will occur and an arrow will appear indicating whether the sort was in ascending or descending order.
Delete Activity fm Grid Button - this command button will remove an activity from the grid.
[Note: The deleted entry or entries will remain in the file until you Save.]
Clear Grid Button - this command will clear all activities on the entire grid.
[Note: Just like above, the deleted entry or entries will remain in the file until you Save, either by clicking the Save button or Save if prompted when you exit and you select the save option.]
