Birthyear Information
Objective
This function was added just for the fun of it, to provide some interesting information showing some of what was happening during various years since 1900.
How to Use
An edit option has been added so you can keep the program up to date or change existing information if you so desire. To edit information or add new or additional information, select the Input/Edit Information Button.
An Edit Panel will then appear, select which side (Serious or Lighter) you desire to work with.
[Note: Total letters/spaces that can be entered is 500.]
The combo list box is used to select or enter the year desired.
[Note: Use this combo list to either select or enter the year desired. Entries cannot be prior to 1900.]
Special Options
Selecting the Five Year Cost Button will cause a Grid to appear which displays the approximate cost of items in five-year increments. This Button will then change to Close Cost Chart, which when selected will remove the cost grid from the screen.
Grid Options - the Grid has the following options and capabilities:
Scroll Bar - if you place the cursor over the vertical scroll bar button and while holding down the left mouse button and then move the scroll bar button it will show the number of the row that is currently at the top of the Grid to help you know where you are in the grid.
Scroll Wheel - If you mouse control has a scroll wheel, place the cursor anywhere over the grid area and then you can use the scroll wheel to scroll up or down the grid.
