Save As Introduction
Save As could be used to convert images from one format to another.
If you want to convert image file from one format to another, you should do as the following steps,
- Open the image file and load it into the view window
- Press the [Save As] from tool bar or pull-down menu [File]
- When the [Save As] dialog is activated, pressing the [...] button to enter or locate a file name.
- Select the right file type and make sure the file name with the right extension. Press the [Save]button
- If you want to save the image into JPG, GIF or ICO, you should set the right options here.
- Press the [Save] button to complete the converting.
The formats that could be opened include BMP, DIB, EMF, GIF, ICB, ICO, JPG, JPEG, PBM, PCD, PCX, PGM, PNG, PPM, PSD, PSP, RLE, SGI, TGA, TIF, TIFF, VDA, VST, WBMP, WMF.
The formats that could be saved include BMP, EMF, GIF, ICO, JPG, PNG, TGA, TIF, WBMP, WMF.
Save As GIF
If save a loaded image as GIF format, the save as dialog would show the options of GIF for changing. You may set the gif transparent or not. If you se the gif to transparent, you may choose a color for transparent purpose.
Save As Icon
If save a loaded image as ICO format, the save as dialog would show the options of ICON for changing. You may set the icon`s transparent color, set the icon to 16 or 256 colors, set the icon stretched or clipped.
Save As JPG
If save a loaded image as JPG/JPEG format, the save as dialog would show the options of JPG/JPEG for changing. You may set the jpeg's compression rate (from 1 to 100), use progress encoding or not when saving, save with gray scale or not.
