Import Points
There are different ways to collect points:
- Take the points from the Clipboard;
- Read the points from text file;
- Digitize from the screen or background picture;
- Automation.
- How to take the points from the Clipboard
The Clipboard must contain data in text format. For example, Excel rows were copied on the Clipboard or FindGraph’s points were copied. Follow these steps:
- Put points on the Clipboard. In Excel select some cells and click the
 button or select menu item <Edit><Copy>.
- In FindGraph click the
 button or select menu item <Data><Paste Points...>.
- The Wizard of Creation starts.
- Follow 4 steps of 4.
- It creates new series of points with current color and marker.
- Series, named 'Data from Clipboard', appear in list.
How to read the points from text file
Follow these steps:
- Click the button or select menu item <Data><Add from File...>.
- The dialog "Open file" opens. Select the file with extension 'TXT'.
- The Wizard of Creation starts.
- Follow 4 steps of 4.
- It creates new series of points with current color and marker.
- Series, named as file, appear in list.
Notes:
- The points in file must be delimited with Space, Tab, Comma, ';' or '|'.
