Tips and Tricks
- To view, what Duplicate File Remover Pro is doing at real-time, keep "Realtime information" tab page of main Duplicate File Remover Pro window opened.
- To hide / restore Duplicate File Remover Pro window quickly, click on Duplicate File Remover Pro icon in the system tray.
- To view content of image files, that are processed (even if image files are in archives, that are extracted by Duplicate File Remover Pro), open Image previewer window. To do this, click "View" - "Image previewer" menu item in the Duplicate File Remover Pro main window.
- To hide / restore Image previewer window quickly, click on Image previewer icon in the system tray.
- You can easily show in Image previewer any files, even if they were not processed by Duplicate File Remover Pro - just drag such files with your mouse on Media previewer window.
- To view content of audio and video files, that are processed (even if such files are in archives, that are extracted by Duplicate File Remover Pro), open Media previewer window. To do this, click "View" - "Media previewer" menu item in the Duplicate File Remover Pro main window.
- To hide / restore Media previewer window quickly, click on Media previewer icon in the system tray.
- If Media previewer don't show content of some video files, that means, that they are corrupted, or you have no appropriate video codec installed. After you install such media codec, all early invisible content will be shown.
- You can easily show in Media previewer any files, even if they were not processed by Duplicate File Remover Pro - just drag such files with your mouse on Media previewer window.
- You can change Duplicate File Remover Pro settings at any time, even if Duplicate File Remover Pro is already started. All changes, that will be made, will be applied on the fly.
- Processing speed will be large, if source and destination directories are located on the same computer, but you also can use remote, network storages (for example, file servers inside of office network).
