Virtual Notes

A virtual note means that the contents of this note are not stored in the database file, but instead in an external file, the location of which is set in the "URL" field of the note properties.

Working with virtual notes allows you to centralise your work with a number of files that may be scattered in different locations on your computer.

You can turn "virtual mode" on for an existing note by changing it's "virtual" property (Note properties Dialog) to "Yes - Edit" and supplying a valid URL (i.e. destination file to store this note). Likewise you can turn virtual mode off by changing this setting to "No".
