Follow the next steps to learn how to use MP3Producer properly.
1. Run MP3Producer
Click the Start button in the Startup menu and choose Programs > MP3Producer.
2. Place a CD into the CD-ROM drive
Press the eject button in the Player toolbar to open the CD-ROM drive (CD to WAV, CD to MP3, CD to OGG, CD to WMA modes).
3. Set the needful mode
Set one of the following modes: CD to MP3 - Rip CD tracks and store them in MP3 format on your hard drive.
CD to WAV - Rip tracks from an audio CD and store them in WAV format on your hard drive.
CD to OGG - Rip tracks from an audio CD and store them in OGG format on your hard drive.
CD to WMA - Rip tracks from an audio CD and store them in WMA format on your hard drive.
WAV to MP3 - Encode WAV files to MP3 format and store them on your hard drive.
WAV to OGG - Encode WAV files to OGG format and store them on your hard drive.
WAV to WMA - Encode WAV files to WMA format and store them on your hard drive.
MP3 to WAV - Decode MP3 files to WAV format and store them on your hard drive.
OGG to WAV - Decode OGG files to WAV format and store them on your hard drive.
WMA to WAV - Decode WMA files to WAV format and store them on your hard drive.
Use Main Menu: Mode or click on the mode icon in Info Bar.
4. Open needful files
Add needful for converting files into Track List. Use Directory Tree or press button the Open in Main Bar (WAV to MP3, WAV to OGG, WAV to WMA, MP3 to WAV, OGG to WAV, WMA to WAV modes).
5. Select an output directory
Select a directory where the created files will be saved. Press the Output button in Main Bar or use Main Menu: Action > Select Output Directory...
6. Enter files info
If you wish to use ID3 tag check 'Write ID3v1 Tag into MP3 files', 'Write ID3v2 Tag into MP3 files', 'Write Tag into OGG files' or 'Write Tag into WMA files' on "ID3 Tag" tab page and fill out the Artist, Album, Year, Genre and other fields. Song title can be edited in the Title column in Track List.
If you have got Internet connection you are able to use the Get CD info from FreeDB function (press the FreeDB button in Main Bar or use Main Menu: Action > Get CD Info from FreeDB...).
7. Specify filenames format
Use Filename tab page to specify the filenames format, the type and format of playlist.
8. Select files settings
Set the options for output files on WAV / MP3 / OGG / WMA Settings tab page.
9. Press the Start button
Now you can run converting process. Press the Start button in Main Bar. You can see information about the process in the Status column of Track List.
