Get CD Info from FreeDB
Using the "Get CD info from FreeDB" function you can retrieve names of artist and album, track titles, genre of music, etc. from the Internet database FreeDB and save the info into the Local Database and CDPlayer.ini.

Automatic Search & Retrieving
1. Press "FreeDB" button
Press "FreeDB" button in Main Bar or use Main Menu: Action > Get CD Info from FreeDB...
2. View the tracks titles
MP3Producer automatically begins retrieving the info from the Internet. You can see the albums retrieved in Album Tree ( ). To view the tracks containing in an album click it ( ) and look at Song List ( ).
Hint: To edit a track title double click it.
3. Press "Select" button
If you are satisfied with the results of search press "Select" button ( ). The tracks in Track List are named according to the selected info (see Main Bar ( ).
Manual Search & Retrieving
1. Press "FreeDB" button
Press "FreeDB" button in Main Bar or use Main Menu: Action > Get CD Info from FreeDB...
2. Specify the search info
Type the info to be found into "Search" edit box ( ), either the album name, or the artist name, or the track title.
3. Define the search options
Press the button ( ) in Search Bar ( ) to view the "Search Options" bar ( ). Define the fields to search the info in.
4. Press "Search" button
Press "Search" button ( ) in Search Bar. MP3Producer begins retrieving the info from the Internet. You can see the albums retrieved in Album Tree ( ). To view the tracks containing in an album click it and look at Song List ( ).

5. Press "Select" button
If you are satisfied with the results of search press "Select" button ( ). The tracks in Track List are named according to the selected info.
Search Bar
Search Bar () provides you with functionality of manual search of the needful album according to the specified tracks titles, artist and album names. Just type an artist or album name, or a track title in "Search" edit box to retrieve the whole album. Specify the search options (), and then press "Search" button ().
Search Options
"Search Options" dialog allows customizing the search and retrieving process to speed it up and to guarantee the exact results. Mark the requisite checkboxes:

Tabs
Tabs ( ) provides you with functionality of search the album info from the different sources (FreeDB.org site, Local Database, and CDPlayer.ini file) in order to minimize the time of search and to guarantee the exact result.
Album Tree
Album Tree ( ) shows the albums names retrieved. To view the tracks in an album click an album name in Album Tree. The retrieved albums names are distributed by genres and artists in the following order:

The image of the selected music genre.
The image of the selected artist name.
The image of the selected album title. The tracks from it are shown in Song List.
The image of the retrieved music genre.
The image of the unretrieved album title.
The image of the being retrieved album title.
The image of the album title unable to retrieve.
The image of the selected album ID. The tracks from it are shown in Song List.
The image of the album ID being retrieved.
The image of the unretrieved album ID.
The image of the album ID unable to retrieve.
The image of the retrieved album ID.
Album Tree Pop-up Menu
This menu can be accessed in Album Tree with right mouse click on an Album Tree item.
Album Info Bar
Album Info Bar ( ) allows you to view and edit the album info from Local Database and CDPlayer.ini.
Song List
Song List ( ) displays the tracks containing in an album.

Column "Extra Info".
