- equivalent of New GIF (Ctrl+N). Closes the file currently opened (if any) to start with a new empty container for your animated GIF.
- equivalent of Save (Ctrl+S): Saves your animated GIF under the same name it was saved previously. If the file was not saved previously, opens the ‘Save As’ dialog window prompting you for a name and location of the new file.
- Open your animated GIF in the default browser. Note: this command is not available in the Main menu.
- equivalent of Cut (Ctr+X): Copies into clipboard and removes the selected frame from your animated GIF.
- equivalent of Copy (Ctr+C): Copies the selected frame into clipboard.
- equivalent of Paste (Ctrl+V): Pastes as a new frame in your animated GIF the previously selected and copied frame or any image previously copied into clipboard.
- equivalent of Add frames command. Opens the ‘Open’ dialog window prompting you for a name and location of the graphic file to be added as a frame to your animated GIF.
- equivalent of Duplicate: Creates a copy of the selected frame and places it next to the original one.
- equivalent of Delete frames: Removes the selected frame from your animated GIF.
- equivalent of Play command. Starts animation of your GIF in the ‘Preview’ area.
- equivalent of Stop command. Stops the animation.
- Allows you to pick any frame’s color which you want to set as transparent. Note: this command is not available in the Main menu.
- equivalent of Optimize command. Opens the ‘Optimization options’ dialog window allowing you to choose which optimization methods should be applied to your animated GIF, including optimizing color map, cropping unused transparent areas, and merging pixels of the same color. Using the ‘Optimize’ command helps you significantly reduce the image file size.
