Question 1: How can I access earlier created animated GIF?
Answer: Use the 'Add frames' button and locate your earlier saved animated GIF file.
When you click 'Open', the whole file is added to your new GIF as the same sequence of frames. You can edit it and save under the same name as your earlier created GIF.
Question 2: What is the difference between Color reduction and Optimization?
Answer: 1. Color reduction methods are applied to each frame added to your animated GIF. You choose the default colr reduction method in 'File->Preferences->Color Reduction Method'.
2. Optimization reduces the size of the whole animated GIF. You apply GIF optimization using 'Animation->Optimize' command sequence.
Question 3: How can I set the transparent color?
Answer: Click on the frame which contains the color you want to make transparent.
Click on the box next to the 'Transparent' check box in the 'Frame settings area'.
Clcik on the color box you want to make transparent.
Make sure that the 'Transparent' checkbox on the left is checked.
To set the selected color transparent in all the frames, click the 'Apply to all' button. |
